133 Tasks inside notes

Best feature so far is having tasks inside notes. It’s a no brainer and I LOVE it.

86 Not looking back

This app has entirely replaced Evernote and Todoist for me, and has changed the way I use Google Calendar.

65 Revolutionized the way I organize my personal knowledge

Amplenote has revolutionized the way I organize my personal knowledge, to-dos, and project organization. Truly unique and worth the learning curve.

50 Just as good on mobile

I don't know if they believed me when I told them the application is just as good on mobile and it's not just for "quick capture."

“Insight of the day: @amplenote is way better than you may think, and their support is excellent. There are hundreds of small things built into this project that make it really fun to use. And I love their retro theme 💙”

“Normally when working with Notes apps there is always something not quite right, it is either ways too complex to set up correctly e.g. Tana, Mem or it’s focus is on functionality I don’t need e.g. RemNote, Roam Research or it leaves me with file management tasks e.g. Obsidian. The thing that almost all note apps fail to implement is end to end encryption. The three best in this respect are Reflect Notes, Bear and of course Amplenote.”

“I'm loving the task funnel and the smart ordering of tasks in the task view. I don't do full calendar integration yet but I might get there eventually. I use jots and tasks way more than I expected to when I first started.”

Sara · Aug 2023

“I actually dove way into Obsidian after this one before eventually coming back to Amplenote once I realized I was spending way too much time fiddling and struggling with sync and information capture. I started slowly diving into Amplenote and the Idea Execution Funnel and Help Docs really started to draw me in because they were at once a way to show me how to use Amplenote and also a system for productivity itself. Similar to why I love YNAB - it isn't just great software but it is also a method for budgeting.”

“I really believe in the long term value of this product. Amplenote is a lot more valuable than $10 a month and is still a bargain at $20 a month. It is too early to quantify how much Amplenote will save me in time and how much it will boost my productivity, but the potential is huge.”

Chris · Jun 2023

“Loving the app. Cancelled Todoist and planning to cancel Evernote to go all-in on Amplenote. Shu Omi and his YouTube videos; I found his channel because I’m a dedicated Obsidian user. Fast and clean UX integration between tasks, calendar, and back-linked notes (I’ve seen nothing like it!).”

“A Tana user I know recently asked me how often I actually use the app. I don't know if they believed me when I told them the application is just as good on mobile and it's not just for "quick capture." I can actually do work and be productive instead of mindlessly scrolling Twitter when I am out and about and even at home when it's just easier to use the phone or iPad rather than having to move to the office and use the computer.”

Gustavo · May 2023

“After giving Amplenote my full attention for the past 2 hours, all I can say is "wow". I'm in love. Though I prefer analog systems, diaries, planners...and it has its place, AmpleNote is so easy to pick up and learn and then get to the doing. That's the problem in the productivity space. What do people actually do? It seems that they spend ages pouring over the right system, or going from app to app looking for something that will propel their productivity, but producing nothing. I have never understood it. This app is amazing.  I'm a firm fan and new paid subscriber.  Thanks for an app that is for normies like me.”

Michelle · Apr 2023

“I am a long-time Evernote user, But I, like many, am concerned that the purchase by Bending Spoons may not be good. Exporting notes from Evernote into Amplenote is the best I have experienced. I have purchased a subscription, deleted my test imports, and am getting ready to start anew.”

Amplenote is one of the few services I'm willing to pay premium for. Truly brilliant.
