Just like the web app, the Amplenote mobile web version has all the functionality of Amplenote. No download required, just log into the site. Great for non-iOS or Android devices!
All Amplenote plans have access to unlimited devices. That's right, there's no limit! On the web, iOS, or Android, Amplenote is there for you.
Amplenote checks for changes to your notes and updates those changes across all of your devices. We've built Amplenote from the ground up to eliminate the merge issues that other note-taking apps face as a result of having being built in the pre-mobile age.
Our goal is have notes sync reliably with no work on behalf of the user, and to remain well-supported even if you are working offline or with limited bandwidth.
The icon near the top right of the screen indicates Amplenote's current sync state. The sync states are defined as follows:
If you make changes to notes while offline or under limited bandwidth, Amplenote will merge those changes with your content in the server as soon as you reconnect to the internet.
Check to ensure you are connected to the internet, then refresh your browser / restart the Amplenote app.
If you are using a mobile device and accessing the internet via cellular data, check to ensure that you've given Amplenote permission to use cellular data in your device settings.
In the Amplenote mobile app, there is an optional setting that automatically reports any merge issues you experience to our developers (Settings > Send Merge Conflict Reports). Researching incorrect sync behavior is one of our highest development priorities.
