Finding a true place for planning and recording my thoughts—where I can also see and work with a calendar—was a real challenge for me.
When I first tried to build a system like this, it was around the idea of the 'Bullet Journal,' which emphasizes doing everything in a notebook. I tried so many times, but it never quite worked. I care a lot about systems and efficiency, and notebooks ended up feeling like a trap. The truth is, you have to see and feel what works for you individually; without that personal vision, copying someone else's system won't get you far.
After notebooks, I tried several apps, but none matched my perspective on planning and note-taking—to the point where I actually started learning to build my own app! But that turned into a massive project, so I thought, 'Come on, let's just go back to notebooks where everything is in my hands.' Eventually, I stopped planning and journaling altogether for a while.
Until now! I discovered this wonderful app, and it aligns so naturally with how my brain functions—especially since everything is note-based and JOTs let you see consecutive days just like a physical notebook.
Thank you so much! I really hope this one is here to stay for a long time.
