User-friendly diacritics (accents and umlaut characters) search

The Search feature in all Google products I use (except GCal), Windows Explorer (filenames), and Evernote, return words with the same spelling regardless of diacritics (cafe/café or uber/über, for example. I would love for Amplenote to do this, too!

USE CASE:

1. I capture a webpage or copy a note from someone else with diacritic word or phrase that is misspelled (Hernan Cortes, for example) or just anglicized to drop the diacritics (fiance) and paste it into Amplenote.

2. Later, I use Amplenote general search for that word/phrase with the correct or original spelling—Hernán Cortés or fiancé—and the note does not appear in my search results.

3. Frustration ensues.

4. Conceivably, I may have to then search for hernán cortés, hernan cortés, hernán cortes, and hernan cortes to find all my notes about that person I've been researching.

Making diacritic search "soft" would make this problem go away.
