Format pasted markdown

If I take markdown text and paste it into Amplenote, it just stays plain text.

Would like an option to paste in markdown and OPTIONALLY have it turn # heading into H1s, [ ] into checklists, etc...

Or maybe a select and "format markdown" option of some sort.
