The problem is definitely with the user in this case!
On the iPhone app I accidentally *deleted* a couple of tags instead of removing them from a specific note. I tapped past the warnings and deleted the tags. Unfortunately for me they were tags I used very often, on a couple hundred notes or more... With no undo button :(
On the browser experience, the triple dot menu for tags gives 4 options: Remove tag, Edit tag settings, Share tag, Add to shortcuts. None of these actions are hard to reverse - they are non-critical. But on the iPhone app, there are additional "critical" items that are hard to undo: Merge with another tag, Archive all notes with this tag, Delete all notes with this tag, Delete tag.
Suggestion is to move these "critical" actions to a separate place in the app (under Settings? Or a new page called Tag management?) , so silly people like me don't accidentally tap them with no recourse.
